INTERNATIONAL SECRETARIES’ DAY CELEBRATED AT THE ABIDJAN PORT AUTHORITY

On Wednesday, April 23, 2025, the Union of Secretaries of the Abidjan Port Authority (USPAA) celebrated International Secretaries’ Day at the Seamen’s Club in Abidjan-Treichville. This year’s edition was held under the theme: “How to Seize Opportunities to Enrich Your Professional and Personal Journey.”

Opening the series of speeches, Mrs. KONAN Mariette ALANY AKA, President of the USPAA, highlighted the pivotal role of secretaries in the smooth functioning of organizations. She encouraged her colleagues to turn every challenge into a growth opportunity. “As secretaries, we are often the invisible pillars of our teams. Let us seize the opportunities before us to train, stay informed, and thrive,” she stated.

Representing Mrs. TRAORÉ Salimata Aurore Epse SILUÉ, Director of Human Resources at the Abidjan Port Authority Mrs. BIDIA DUNCAN Monique, Deputy Director, conveyed a message of appreciation and encouragement on behalf of the General Management:
“On this special day, I extend these words on behalf of the Abidjan Port Authority’s Top Management to commend your dedication, loyalty, and the quality of your work.”

The celebration was marked by a keynote presentation from Mr. Mobert KEMENO, who addressed the chosen theme. Through his insights, he offered tools and strategies to help secretaries identify and seize opportunities conducive to their professional and personal development.
