INVESTORS FROM THE CITIBANK GROUP VISIT ABIDJAN PORT

A delegation of international investors from the Citibank Group visited the Abidjan Port on Tuesday 24 January 2023 as part of a prospecting mission to seize business opportunities in Côte d'Ivoire.

Receiving the visitors, Colonel COFFI Yao Emmanuel, Director of Maritime Operations, Security and Environment (DOMSE), representing the Managing Director of the Abidjan Port Authority (PAA), took the opportunity to present the investment offers of his institution. These relate to the continuation of the modernization of the port and its extension, through the completion of the construction of the grain terminal, the signing of a concession agreement for the fertilizer terminal, the construction of a structure for crossing the Vridi canal with a connection to the road network via the Jacqueville bridge so as to increase the performance of the logistics platform, and the development of part of the port's land reserve located on the western edge of the Vridi canal.

 A guided tour enabled the businessmen to discover the various specialized quays of the Abidjan Port as well as the industrial units it houses. The representative of the Managing Director of the PAA, on this occasion, encouraged the four (4) investors who are very active in the Eurobond of the State of Côte d'Ivoire, namely 91 Investment Management, Wellington, PGIM and T ROWE PRICE, to further support the economic development policy of Côte d'Ivoire, of which the Abidjan Port is the catalyst.
