A tripartite exchange meeting took place on Monday, June 21st, 2021 between the Managing Director of Abidjan Port Authority (APA), Mr. Hien Y. SIÉ, a delegation from the Union of Consignors and Shipowners of Cote D'Ivoire (UCACI) led by Mr. Mamadou DOSSO and the Single Entry Point for Foreign Trade in Côte d’Ivoire (GUCE-CI), led by Mr. Lassine SIDIBE, Business Analyst within this structure. The meeting goal was to analyze the difficulties linked to the dematerialization project of port activities. Recall that the GUCE, launched on July 1st, 2013 by the Ivorian government, is a system allowing trade and transportation operators to communicate information and documents in a standardized manner through a single point of entry in order to meet all the formalities required during import, export and transit operations.
