THE MANAGING DIRECTOR OF ABIDJAN PORT AUTHORITY RECEIVES A DELEGATION FROM THE "CONSEIL DE L’ENTENTE"

The Managing Director of Abidjan Port Authority (PAA), Mr. Kassoum TRAORE, received in audience on Monday, July 6, 2026, a delegation from the Conseil de l’Entente, led by His Excellency Mr. Idi ALI, Deputy Executive Secretary, serving as Acting Executive Secretary.

This courtesy visit provided an opportunity for the head of the delegation to present the missions and activities of the Conseil de l’Entente, a sub-regional organization bringing together Benin, Burkina Faso, Côte d’Ivoire, Niger and Togo, with Mali and Guinea as observer States.

He recalled the institution’s role in promoting peace, stability, regional integration, as well as the economic and social development of its member States.

The Managing Director of PAA welcomed the visit, which he described as a testimony of the excellent relations between the Abidjan Port Authority and the Conseil de l’Entente. He reaffirmed the PAA’s commitment to supporting all initiatives aimed at strengthening regional integration, facilitating trade and promoting the economic development of the States within the West African community space.
