THE MEMBERS OF THE ABIDJAN PORT COMMUNITY EXCHANGED VIEWS ON THE REHABILITATION PROJECT OF “VRIDI BOULEVARD”.

On Wednesday 14 June 2023, Mr Hien Yacouba SIE, Managing Director of Abidjan Port Authority and also Chairman of Abidjan Port Community (CPA) together with his Counterpart, the Director General of The Ivorian Customs, met with the members of Abidjan Port Community.

They discussed about port Operation with the rehabilitation works of Vridi Boulevard.

During his address, Mr Hien SIE said that the Ivorian Government and the USA Government represented by the Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC) had signed a memorandum of understanding for the funding of several infrastructure projects in Côte d’Ivoire including the rehabilitation project of Vridi Boulevard also called ‘’Boulevard du Port”.

He reassured the Members of CPA that the rehabilitation of this major Abidjan Port’s road infrastructure awarded to RAZE LBEC Company will commence in a near future.

The meeting was the opportunity for the participants to reflect on the areas for improvement of traffic flow in the port area during the works.

The decision was made to put in place an enlarged committee to come up as soon as possible with concrete and appropriate proposals.
