MOTHERS’ DAY: ABIDJAN PORT AUTHORITY CELEBRATING ITS MOTHERS
On Friday 09 June 2023 at Seamen’s Club d’Abidjan, the mothers of Abidjan Port Authority (PAA) gathered in a festive and friendly atmosphere to celebrate in a 50’s retro style, the mothers ‘day, in the presence of Dr Titi PALE, Commercial, Marketing and Communication Director, who was acting as co-godmother of the ceremony.
Mrs OUATTARA Sarah Danielle outgoing President of Abidjan Port Authority’s Women Association, at first, extended her greetings to the Top Management which, as in the previous years, decided to honour once more, the mothers of the Institution.
Speaking on behalf of the Director of Human Resources, Mrs MEITE Salimata FOFANA, Co-godmother of the event, Mrs SERHAN Ahou Claudine, Deputy Director of Human Resources paid a warm tribute to the mothers of Abidjan Port Authority for their significant contribution, their courage, their determination in achieving the company’s goals. “Your constant contribution and dedication to work enabled Abidjan Port Authority to achieve good performance, which further positions it as the leading port in the West African Sub-region’’.
She encouraged them to continue to participate effectively in the development process of Abidjan Port, and therefore, of Côte d’Ivoire.
To conclude, the representative of the Director of Human Resources made the wish to see the spirit of friendship and solidarity for a more performing and competitive company.
The celebration of Mothers’ Day was the occasion to honour three women of PAA who were to retire. Each of them received a token gift.
Note that Mothers ‘Day celebration became an institution at Abidjan Port Authority.
Mr Hien Yacouba SIE, the Top Manager Committed him self to sparing no effort to accompany the female workers in all their actions, just like his Excellency Alassane OUATTARA, Head of State who gives women a privileged position in his political vision.
