THE NEW DIRECTOR GENERAL OF THE BURKINABE SHIPPERS’ COUNCIL ON A VISIT TO ABIDJAN PORT AUTHORITY

On Thursday june 9, 2022, as part of a tour in Cote d’Ivoire to meet the structures under his supervision, Dr KASSOUM TRAORE, the new Director General of Burkinabe’s Shippers Council (CBC) was welcomed by Mr DIARRASSOUBA Tahirou, Secretary General of Abidjan Port Authority, representing the Managing Director of Abidjan Port Authority.

Dr KASSOUM TRAORE who was accompanied for the occasion by Mr GUSTAVE ZAGRE, the representative of CBC in Cote d’Ivoire, said that he came on visit to the Port Authority after his appointment on may 19, 2022 and particulary to reiterate the commitment for cooperation between CBC and Abidjan Port that he intends to strengthen.

Mr Tahirou  DIARRASSOUBA for his part, pointed and that as the Abidjan Port was the naturel port of Burkina Faso, the Port Authority was delighted with the excellent relations with CBC  and welcomed the appointment of a new Director General with whom the joint projects which had already been launched could continue for the benefit of both parties.
