THE NEW HEAD OF THE NIGERIAN COUNCIL OF PUBLIC TRANSPORT USERS VISITS THE ABIDJAN PORT

The Director General of the Nigerian Council of Public Transport Users (CNUT), Mrs. Tchima MOUSTAPHA MAMADOU, met on Tuesday 10 May 2022, at the Head Office of the Abidjan Port Authority, the Secretary General of the Abidjan Port Community, Mr. Tahirou DIARRASSOUBA, representing the Managing Director of the Abidjan Port Authority (PAA)

This visit was an opportunity for Mr. Tahirou DIARRASSOUBA, not only to present to Nigeriens the port platform in full mutation thanks to the large infrastructural projects in progress, but also to address the issue of transit of goods to the hinterland countries, particularly Niger.

Mrs. Tchima MOUSTAPHA MAMADOU who was visiting the Abidjan Port for the first time after her appointment, affirmed her desire to revitalize the Abidjan-Niamey corridor. She also took the opportunity to introduce the new CNUT representative in Abidjan, Mr Albade ALASSANE.

The meeting ended with a visit to the port facilities.
