PAA AT THE SIDE OF CIVIL ENGINEERING STUDENTS FOR THE CELEBRATION OF EXCELLENCE

On Friday 23 and Saturday 24 June 2023, the students of the National Civil Engineering School (ENSI) Commemorated the “Challenge ENSI” at “Felix HOUPHOUET-BOIGNY FONDATION” in Yamoussokro.

Challenge ENSI which is celebrated each year is an event aimed at promoting values excellence advocated at the school.

The Ceremony took place on the theme: “Funding and Implementing Major Development Projects: the Case of Abidjan Port Authority.’

The theme was presented by Mr SANGARE Macky Director of the PAA’S Digital Information System, representing the sponsor of the event, Mr Hien Yacouba SIE, Managing Director of Abidjan Port Authority.

The speaker focused his address on the importance of carrying out such major works in Abidjan Port during the last decade. He precised that these projects were part of the National Development Plan (PND) for the 2012-2015 and 2016-2020 periods, designed by the Government. Moreover, he stated that the implementation of the infrastructure significantly contributed to the redynanization of the Abidjan Port Platform, the driving force of the Ivorian economy.

After the conference, a Gala Diner took place, during which ENSI 2023 promotion was named by the representative of the sponsor of the ceremony, followed by the passing of the torch to the Civil Engineering Students of the 2nd year.

 As a recall, the two days of celebration ended with a sports day which gathered ENSI’S students and Abidjan Port Authority.
