PORT SANITATION: CONSULTATION LUNCHEON WITH KEY STAKEHOLDERS

A consultation luncheon bringing together the main stakeholders involved in port sanitation was held on Monday, January 26, 2026, at the Seamen’s Club in Abidjan. The meeting aimed to strengthen coordination among the parties involved in the management of hygiene, sanitation and cleanliness of port facilities.

Initiated by Mr. MONI N’Guessan Hyacinthe, Director of Engineering and Project Management at the Abidjan Port Authority (PAA), these discussions were part of a continuous improvement approach to sanitary and environmental conditions on the Abidjan port platform. This initiative further renews the PAA’s environmental commitment, as the institution is certified with the environmental standard ISO 14001:2015. The ceremony was also marked by remarks from the Secretary General of the Abidjan Port Community, Mr. Tahirou DIARRASSOUBA, who commended the commitment of sanitation stakeholders while encouraging them to continue their efforts toward maintaining a clean and secure port environment.
