RAMADAN 2024 ABIDJAN PORT AUTHORITY PROVIDES SUPPORT TO DOCK WORKERS

As it is customary, the Top Management of Abidjan Port Authority (PAA) provided support to the Muslim community of Abidjan port's dock workers which is observing fasting during this month of Ramadan.

Thus, on Friday 15 March 2024, Mr Tahirou DIARRASSOUBA, Secretary General of Abidjan Port Community (CPA), delivered, on behalf of Mr Hien Yacouba SIE, PAA's Managing Director, a batch of food to the leaders of the dock workers’ umbrella, namely. ‘‘La Fédération Nationale des Dockers de Côte d’Ivoire (Fenad-ci). La Fédération des syndicas de Dockers pour le Renouveau (FSDR), Le Groupement des Syndicats Dockers pour le Renouveau- Côte d’Ivoire (GSDR-CI) and La Coordination Syndicale des Dockers de Côte d'Ivoire (CSD. CI). The donation which consisted of two tons of rice,40 boxes of sugar and 10 cartons of milk was delivered during a ceremony organized for that purpose in the presence of Mr Alexis Raymond NGUESSAN ZOUKOU, Secretary General of the Bureau of Dock Workers (BMOD- SEMPA). He expressed his gratitude to the Port Authority For that action which is a symbol of solidarity towards Dock workers.

 By receiving this donation, the representatives of dock workers saluted the generosity of the Port Authority. They also thanked The Top Executive of the Abidjan Port Community who through his actions, works to maintain an environment conducive to the development of activities on the Port platform.
