SITE VISIT OF THE PORT AREA’S ROADWORKS BY THE MANAGING DIRECTOR OF ABIDJAN PORT AUTHORITY

The Top Management of Abidjan Port Authority is willing to improve traffic in the port area to ensure a better operation of the ongoing infrastructure (TC2, Roro, and Grain Terminals).

In that prospect, to this end, works for opening of new access roads (along quayside 17 at Abidjan Terminal) and the construction of new customs checkpoints, the fish market of the Fishing Harbour) are being carried out. In addition to that, it is planned to develop a land space for the construction of a new customs station for the maritime and lagoon brigades (Timber yard in Plateau).

In order to appreciate the advancement of the work, on 9 March 2022, Mr Hien Yacouba SIE Managing Director of Abidjan Port Authority went on a site visit accompanied by the Director of Engineering, The Director of the port Estates and some customs officers.

The visit enabled the Top Executive to assess what has been achieved, give new instructions and make arrangements in order to carry out the works in accordance with the proposed plan and within the prescribed time limits.
