SPECIAL CONGRESS OF SUTRA PAA THE UNIQUE TRADE UNION OF ABIDJAN PORT AUTHORITY’S WORKERS

The Executive Committee of SUTRAPAA held its special congress on 29 th July 2020 at the Seamen’s Club Abidjan-Treichville.

The congress dealt with the amendment of the port union Bylaws and Regulations, and the validation of its general policy. The special congress follows up on the recommendations from the second regular congress which took place on 29 th November 2018 and concluded that the texts governing SUTRAPAA, which was established back on 29 May 1994 at the Labour Exchange of Treichville, would have to be revisited in order to adjust to current reality.
