STRATEGIC AND TECHNICAL PARTNERSHIP: THE ABIDJAN PORT AUTHORITY HOLDS DISCUSSIONS WITH AN AUSTRIAN COMPANY

On Thursday, February 12, 2026, the Abidjan Port Authority (PAA) received, at the General Directorate Conference Room, an Austrian delegation from the engineering firm TENENTE E.U, on its first commercial mission to Africa. This meeting took place within the framework of a potential strategic and technical partnership. The audience was chaired by Colonel COFFI YAO Emmanuel, Habour Master of the Abidjan Port and Director of Maritime Operations, Security and Environment.

The agenda included a presentation of the technologies developed by TENENTE E.U, particularly in the fields of telecommunications and data security. In his address, the Chief Executive Officer of the Austrian company highlighted the international experience of TENENTE E.U, recognized for providing support to the Austrian government as well as countries such as Egypt and Morocco in the implementation of major technological projects.

The discussions also explored prospects for a strategic and technical partnership aimed at supporting PAA in strengthening its data security policy within a port environment increasingly oriented toward digital transformation. It should be recalled that the Abidjan Port Authority, which has made data security a strategic priority, obtained on December 18, 2023, the ISO/IEC 27001:2022 certification, an international standard attesting to the implementation, updating and continuous improvement of an Information Security Management System.
