TUNISIAN BUSINESS MEN ON VSIT IN ABIDJAN PORT AUTHORITY

As part of an economic mission in Côte d’Ivoire a delegation of Tunisian businessmen visited Abidjan Port Authority on 07 December 2022. The delegation was received by Colonel COFFI Emmanuel, Director of Maritime Operations Security and Environment. It is on the initiative of the Embassy of Côte d’Ivoire in Tunisia that the delegation came to Côte d’Ivoire from the 4 to 8 December 2022. The delegation headed by Mr TARAK Cherif, Chairman of CONNECT INTERNATIONAL (Confederation of Tunisia’s Citizen Companies) visited Abidjan Port Authority to have an appreciation of investment potentials and other business opportunities.

The head of delegation took the opportunity to congratulate the Abidjan Port Authority for the recent inauguration of the second Container Terminal which for him, will further strengthen the leading position of Abidjan Port on the African West Coast.

Honoured about the economic mission of CONNECT INTERNATIONAL Group to Côte d’Ivoire and the interest showed in Abidjan Port Authority, Colonel COFFY Yao Emmanuel representing the Managing Director stated that the Port Authority remains open to any proposal that could come up with a future mutually beneficial cooperation between Tunisian Companies and Abidjan Port.

The meeting ended with a guided tour that enabled the businessmen to discover the tremendous potentialities of Abidjan Port.
