WORLD BANK EXPERTS VISIT ABIDJAN PORT AUTHORITY

As part of the preparation for the 2026–2030 National Development Plan (PND), the World Bank provides support to the Ivorian government in conducting a study on the quality of economic growth in Côte d'Ivoire.

On November 8, 2024, a team of experts from the international financial institution, led by Professor Danny LEIPZIGER, together with officials from the Directorate-General for Planning of the Ministry of Economy, Planning, and Development, met with the Abidjan Port Authority. Representing the Port Authority on this occasion was Mr. KOUASSI Kouadio Jules, Director of Economic Studies, Strategy, and Planning.

The meeting focused on reviewing the investment needs of Abidjan Port in the short, medium, and long term, to ensure their inclusion in the PND 2026–2030.

Following the discussions, the delegation toured the port facilities.
