THE WRITERS OF THE ABIDJAN PORT LAT FORM PROMOTE THEIR WORKS
Besides their professional assignments,several professionals of the Ivorian maritime and port industry are passionate about literature and are writers and book lovers.practicing several works published in Côte d’Ivoire or elese where in the world.
With a view to sharing and give visibilty to their passion, these authors of the Abidjan Port’s platform gathered within a collective committee named¨ les Ecrits-port¨ (port-writings).
The committee which was recently put in place,officially launched its first activity in December 2023.
Thank to the organization of the Christmas Fair by the Association of Abidjan Port Authority,s Women from 20 to 22 December 2023,the Committee ran an exhibition stand where some writers and their books made themselves known.Four (4) port workers with duties at various levels of responsibility are among these writers.
The first author who made herself known. Dr Titi PALE,Commercial,Marketing and Communication,Director ,and also Honorary President of the Dr Titi PALE is the author of 6 books which reflect fully her Commitment to improve Women condition in society.
Mr MONI Nguessan Hyacinthe alias ¨MAUNNY Hyacinthe¨ Deputy Director of Engineering and Project Management is the author of a literary collection of 08 volumes which deal with personal development.
Mr MAH KOBA Antoni alias MAH KOB’A « is head of source in the Direction of Estate.He is a writer and a man of letters.He is the author of three books published successively in 2019,2021 and 2023. In his books,he deals with issues that undermine everyday life of Africans.the issues are the phenomenon of clandestine gold panning,the effects of war and illegal migration.
Mrs Alice BEAULOUP alias « Maud Laffourtiere » another passionately fond of writing is secretary at the Direction of Economie Studies,strategy and planning-she is the author of « La Flèche de Cupidon »a book of Adoras collection.this literary associative structure aims to organize each year a literary season,attend national and international literary activities and shows, and also to meet all the demands pertaining to their common passion for writing.
The festive atmosphere of the 2023 Christmas fair enabled to highlight the rich talents that PAA has to affer.The official lauching of the collective’s activities is an initiative which invites all the writers of the ivorian maritime and port industry to unite their efforts in order that they promote their literary creations through the quality of their writing and their strong commitment.
