ABIDJAN PORT AUTHORITY STRENGTHENS DIALOGUE WITH STAKEHOLDERS IN THE CEMENT INDUSTRY

On Friday, July 17, 2026, the Managing Director of the Abidjan Port Authority (PAA), Mr. Kassoum TRAORE, chaired a working session with a delegation from the Association of Cement Producers of Côte d’Ivoire (APCCI), led by its Vice-President, Mr. Ovic MBI MABIALA, in the presence of representatives of the main cement plants operating within the Abidjan port platform.

The meeting provided an opportunity to review issues related to cement industry activities at Abidjan Port, take stock of operators’ concerns, and identify, through constructive consultation, solutions aimed at improving operational fluidity and the efficiency of the port logistics chain.

At the conclusion of the discussions, the Managing Director commended the quality of the dialogue established with industry professionals and reaffirmed the Abidjan Port Authority’s commitment to maintaining a permanent consultation framework with stakeholders across the sector. He emphasized that this approach reflects the PAA’s determination to sustainably support the development of industrial and port activities, while further strengthening the competitiveness and attractiveness of the Abidjan port platform.
